A Moving Experience

Mark Twain had it right when he said, "Two moves equals one fire."

I'm in the midst of consolidating two homes into one. This explains the lack of absolutely current information on my Website and why I haven't been hanging out as much in some of my usual bars and coffeehouses lately. When I've had the time, I haven't had the energy.

So I just spent all three days of my three day weekend moving stuff from Points A and B to Point C.

I need a weekend to recover from my weekend.

I think there's a song about that, but I thought I was going to write it about a three-day drunk. Ah well; that can be the second verse.

In my Copious Free Time, I've written and recorded a revised version of "Little Parasol" for a publisher, been working on pieces of new songs, seeing the occasional concert - caught Garrett Wilkins & The Parrotheads out in Sacramento last weekend; that was a fun show - and trying to get my new place set up enough to start doing some recording here.

It's going to be lovely when it's all done. :) I just keep telling myself that.
